Tri-Valley Swimming

Tri-Valley Swimming's HOME meets are run by our team - coaches, swimmers and parent volunteers!  ALL TV Swimming Parents are expected to help with these meets.  (We can't do it without you!!)  Meet volunteers are never charged admission.

We need to fill the following jobs at our HOME meets.  The jobs are EASY and WE WILL TRAIN YOU - don't be intimidated!  

• ADMISSIONS – Collect spectator gate admission $$ and/or check hand stamps before the meet start until the break
• HEAD TIMER – Starts/stops two watches in case one of the lane timers has a malfunction during the meet
• LANE TIMER – Start/stop watches, stop the backup plunger and record manual times during the meet
• TIMING CONSOLE/SCOREBOARD OPS – Run the timing console and scoreboard during the meet (advance training required)
• MEET MANAGER/SCORE KEEPER – Enter entry changes, times, and DQs into meet management software before and during the meet (advance training required)

We often need volunteer support (usually timers) at our AWAY meets too, including the SEOSL, county, and sectional meets.  We will share details and ask for volunteers when we receive the meet info.
